I have just started using Twitter and found it difficult to find useful sports related people and sites to follow. Over the last few months alot of Sportsbooks have realised that social media is a good way to market their product and have created their own Twitter accounts. Some of these Sportsbooks also offer Twitterspific (did i just create a new word?) offers and promotions. The following list are all the related sportsbooks and people tweeting at the moment I could find. If you know of someone I have missed please add a comment and I’ll update the list.
What is Twitter?
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author’s profile page and delivered to the author’s subscribers who are known as followers.
